The suggester says: Awesome planet texture, a hot star and amazing background. This is one classic space art piece with nice attention to details. (

I rarely write these things.. To me they are usually
pointless, but seeing i stumbled upon this in the
Daily Deviations. I said to myself "Hey why not!?"
I must say this is a part original! I have seen alot of
other space/ science fiction art like this before. This
has a different kind of feeling to it, if I can say that..
The star burst/ bright lights kind of takes over the picture alot.. If that is what you wanted it to do, it looks
good. I'm not quit sure if I like it to be exact. But it
does draw your eyes to it when you look at the image...
Everything fits perfectly in place with this image. I am
actually glad I clicked on this because it was worth my time to write this critique on this space art
Originality: Not really original, but still great on this one. The nebula is semi-original in this perspective of planet and bright star combo.
Technique: Fantastic planet texture and sharpness, and the nebula is hot as well. Personally I think this should be scaled down resolution-wise so we can see it a bit easier. Also I feel like the huge star is too bright for the rest of the piece, or the lighting doesn't fall perfectly with the rest of the image. Also, I am not sure why the smaller stars are four-pointed and the giant one has only the two points. It throws me off.
Impact: These are always a fan favorite and for sure this one is straightforward and looks great. This would make an epic wallpaper. Like I said earlier though, it is just a little too big for me to really see the whole thing on my monitor at once which makes it a little awkward to critique and just to view in general.
Deviousness: Fantastic planet texture and awesome nebula work, the red color balance is also fantastic and I hope to see more work from you soon.
